NBD-TM is a thiomorpholine-based fluorogenic probe for HOCl. NBD-TM proved to be the most rapid scavenger of HOCl when compared with boronate- and aminophenyl-based fluorogenic probes in a study for monitoring the chlorinating activity of Myeloperoxidase (MPO). Its high reactivity towards HOCl makes NBD-TM the probe of choice for HTS campaigns based on HOCl detection. Excitation maximum = 500 nm; emission maximum = 550 nm.
