SiR-PEG4-Biotin is a fluorescent tracer used in biological research that combines the far-red fluorophore with biotin. Biotin is a high-affinity ligand for streptavidin and avidin proteins. PEG4 linker enhances water solubility and provides spatial separation to minimize steric hindrance during binding interactions. SiR (SiR-6-COOH, 652Ex/674Em) is a far-red fluorescent dye that is bright, photostable, and cell-permeable, and it is fully compatible with standard Cy5 filter sets.
