HaloTag is a self-labeling protein derived from the haloalkane dehalogenase DhaA from Rhodococcus rhodochrous. Its active site reacts with chloroalkane substrates to form an irreversible bond. The covalent linkage between the HaloTag ligand and HaloTag protein enables rapid isolation and purification. HaloTag PEG4 TMR Ligand (555Ex/585Em) can be used for protein fluorescent lableing. Compared with regular HaloTag Ligand, this product contains a PEG4 linker instead of PEG2.
