SiR-Azide is a far-red fluorescent probe containg azide moiety for click chemustry apploications. In click chemistry, azides are commonly used in azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions, such as the copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and the strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC). These reactions are efficient and selective, forming a triazole ring and often used in drug development, molecular biology, and bioconjugation. SiR (SiR-6-COOH, 652Ex/674Em) is a far-red fluorescent dye that is bright, photostable, and cell-permeable, and it is fully compatible with standard Cy5 filter sets.
