SiR-Me-Tetrazine is a far-red fluorescent probe containg methyltetrazine for click chemustry apploications. Methyltetrazine is typically used in the inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder (iEDDA) reaction, a reaction where tetrazine compounds react with strained dienophiles, such as trans-cyclooctene (TCO) or norbornene derivatives. It is widely used for bioconjugation, fluorescent labeling, and live-cell imaging due to its high reactivity, bioorthogonality, and compatibility with biological systems. SiR (SiR-6-COOH, 652Ex/674Em) is a far-red fluorescent dye that is bright, photostable, and cell-permeable, and it is fully compatible with standard Cy5 filter sets.
