SNAP-tag is a self-labeling protein derived from human O6-alkylguanine-DNA-alkyltransferase. SNAP-tag reacts with covalently with O6-benzylguanine derivatives. SNAP-DBCO can be used to attach DBCO moiety to protein. DBCO has been extensively used in copper-free click chemistry.
